In 2016 went on this tour for first time and I loved it. The experience was so good that it became part of my bucket list.
Finally, seven years later, in October 2023, I was able to take the tour again and I can honestly say that what was good got even better.
With the new guide Brice, the tour became an even better experience. We got to know authentic French rural life up close. The group was small, and the guide was calm, patient and attentive. Always willing to assist us.
We were able to enjoy the region’s wines from small producers spanning several generations and enjoy the beautiful French countryside. And even walk among the vineyards.
We visited a goat cheese farm and a typical French market with fresh and artisanal products. And of course, we met the goats!
The tour was hassle-free and very peaceful. The timetable was not the same as that of most tourist excursions, so we were always the only ones in the places we visited.
The guide was also well known and appreciated by the winery owners, in the restaurants and in the various places we visited. So, we were always hosted with great attention and cordiality.
