We had an absolutely wonderful day on our wine tour with Brice. The entire experience was exceptionally well-organized, comfortable, and truly memorable. Brice’s deep knowledge and passion for the region made the tour both informative and incredibly enjoyable.
One of the highlights was meeting the generational winery owners, who generously shared their winemaking processes with us. They explained how their work is both a science and an art, revealing the intricate decisions they must make and the risks and rewards involved. It was fascinating to hear how the timing of these decisions impacts the final product. The tours of their wineries were captivating, and the wine tastings were plentiful and generous. We also enjoyed a delightful breakfast and lunch, which were excellent additions to the day.
Brice ensured that every detail of the tour was perfectly planned, and his dedication to providing a top-notch experience was evident throughout. We explored the winemaking traditions of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé and visited two local wineries. Additionally, we stopped at a goat farm to taste the renowned Crottin de Chavignol cheese and enjoyed a walk through the charming medieval streets of Sancerre. The vineyard views were breathtaking, offering fantastic photo opportunities.
